Christmas Eve--Some Thoughts

What was it like, on that Christmas Eve 2008 years ago? Did the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit meet together? Was the Son excited to be stepping into the stream of human time to move everything forward in the next phase of the Father's Grand Plan? Was there a twinkle of excitement in His eye? Did the Father clasp the Son to Him for one final hug before surrendering His Son to the Earth to continue the plan of redemption?
